I love cooking, especially baking. But I have to confess that I slowly started cooking less and ordering take-out more. My excuse was simply that "cooking for 1" was not very appealing. So eventually the novelty of cooking started to wear off. After all you go through alot of effort and work for a nice meal and other than a few token guests no one really appreciates it.
So after a hiatius from cooking on a regular basis, I have turned over a new leaf, especially now that I do have someone that appreciates it. I wanted to start cooking as often as I could. Things were going great...except for a few overcooked roasts, burnt quesidillas, and making so much that left overs could feed us the rest of the week. Hopefully now that I have a little motivation and experience under my belt I can overcome some of my earlier mistakes and I might even be able to make some yummy healthy food for two and some. Instead of Take out, here's the story of my cooking adventures.
